I have been thinking about whether Will only has a crush on Mike, or is in love with him.Ā
IĀ used to think he was in in love with him, because the Van speech was so intense and beautiful, but now I think that Willā€™s feelings are a combination of deep friendship, a regular school boy crush, feelings of inspiration and reassurance (due to Mike being ā€œthe Heartā€), and an attachment rooted in his need to belong and feel wanted.Ā
I imagine Will has a strong need to be wanted. This goes double for Mike, because he is both his crush and one of his best friends.
Ā Mike give Will courage because he is safe and familiar and attention makes him feel special and wanted - especially during s2.
I headcanon Will started crushing on Mike before season 2 (starting either just before s1, or sometime between s1 and s2), but his ā€œcrazy togetherā€ speech and the shed scene, made Will fall harder for him, because it made him feel special, wanted, safe and like he belonged somewhere - by Mikeā€™s side. This created a slightly unhealthy attachment to Mike. Not in an obsessive or co- dependant way, but in in a way where he bases too much of his self- worth around Mike.

some thoughts on all too well TV (10m)
The All Too Well TV 10-Minute version is a masterpiece.
Passion, love and brokenness through the atmospheric production and impeccable writing were vividly depicted as if they were divided into chapters. Starting the song is like reading an old book, revisiting something from the past which seemed like a fever dream. Falling in love felt like home.
As the we go through the chapters, it's as if love is not what we expected it to be. It builds up melodically and rhythmically. Taylor described the little shortcomings, like skipping town or never calling it love, as some proof that the relationship may lead to doom. She kept her faith, but he didn't.
The climax is what struck me the most. Expecting it to be loud and forceful as the original song did, it was melodic. It merged with soft and high pitched voices in the background which made it, in my opinion, haunting. It's like constant whispers or reminders of how he treated her, like a crumpled up piece of paper lying on the floor. And it won't stop.
It doesn't finish there. The whole hurting, finally uncovered. The words that we left unsaid were said. The feelings and thoughts we never got to hear - how raw it was that Taylor had let them all out. How vulnerable it was.
This is what falling in love and falling apart is. To remember is to once again feel the lifelessness caused by brokenness.
However what struck me with this version is this: Just between us, did the love affair maim you all too well?
After all these years, after all the pain caused, we ask the question: do you remember it?
Did you mourn for the passing of this love? It may not be an appropriate thing to ask but don't we all seek the comfort of knowing whether the love that had happened was true? Or was it really nothing at all?

Short Manner of Death alaysis
Manner of Death is not a show known for its cinematography but for its high quality content. Nevertheless, there a things you can read stuff into that are just silently existing in the background.
For example the cactus. Everyone makes jokes about it and it' s funny how they carry it literally everywhere but it has a deeper meaning. First, Tan brings this cactus as a gift for Bun. The fact that he gave it to him already shows that he likes Bun and is interested in him and would like to know him better. The fact that it's a cactus shows how difficult it will be to achieve that. As everyone knows, you get hurt when you touch a cactus and that's not exactly what happens with Tan and Bun but you can see that they are bickering. They need to get comfortable with each other and Bun can't figure Tan out. Tan is more or less a cactus because he pulls away very fast, so it's not easy to understand him at the beginning. But Bun is not better because he suspects Tan. Their relationship is a cactus because they each don't open up and the other one gets "pecked". But in the scene when they kiss, you can see that the cactus now has bloomed. There is a flower on top of it meaning that Tan and Bun are comfortable now and took a big step in their relationship. They grow and get used to each other. Their relationship turned into something beautiful (love) like the cactus (flower). And I don't have to say what it means that they are watering plants in the garden... symbolizing their growing relationship and that they are now growing together (sounds weird. Sorry, english is not my first language). And as Tan says, it feels like they are now a "unity" also symbolized by the plants.
Another aspect is their way of dressing. Most of the times, Tan wears black and Bun wears white or light blue. So, they wear complementary colors. But since last episode and especially this episode, they wear the same color. Again, they are a "unity" and are now two people who can't live without the other and affect each other in a way that they become one/become the better versions of themselves.
I just wanted to post this stuff because it's near the end and I am dying of curiosity for the finale. The preview is killing me.

The main reason why I love(and ship) Dramione is because of the delicious irony that surrounds it and because of the chemistry: The irony in cuestion is that Draco ended up following the footsteps of his aunt Andromeda.
Well, what I think itā€™s really ironic here is me putting 2 and 2 together. Funnily enough Iā€™ve never ever given this concept enough thinking.
However, now that youā€™ve posed such reflection upon me...I guess itā€™s irony on the next level especially for someone like his Mother, Narcissa.
Since itā€™s the very first time I am navigating this speculation, I gather it kind of makes sense the obsession they had (Malfoyā€™s parents) for blood purity and the brainwashing they gave to the young Draco, the same perhaps with which they grew up with, and I am implying at the three Black sisters.
On ā€˜Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenixā€™, chapter six: The Noble and Most Ancient House of Black;
ā€˜Of course, any time the family produced someone halfway decent they were disowned. I see Tonks is not in here. Maybe thatā€™s why Kreacher wonā€™t take orders from her - heā€™s supposed to do whatever anyone in the family asks himā€”ā€˜
ā€˜You and Tonks are related?ā€ Harry asked surprised.
ā€˜Oh, yeah, her mother Andromeda was my favourite cousin,ā€™ said Sirius, examining the tapestry carefully. ā€˜No, Andromedaā€™s not on here either, lookā€”ā€˜
He pointed to another small round burn mark between two names, Bellatrix and Narcissa.
ā€˜Andromedaā€™s sisters are still here because they made lovely, respectable pure-blood marriages, but Andromeda married a Muggle-born, Ted Tonks, soā€”ā€˜
Sirius mimed blasting the tapestry with a wand and laughed sourly.
Besides the fact that Narcissa is a believer of such purity of blood and preservation of magic, I do not doubt one second my - very personal - speculation that having her sister so ruthlessly cut off completely from her life in such a manner - a verdict of disownment, followed by elimination of her very existence from the family lineage tree - must have cost her a lot, must have hurt her deeply.
Perhaps something she promised herself to never go through again.
So yeah, I see the irony in having reinforced such importance of purity of blood and its preservation only for her precious and most beautiful son - practically Heir to tons of pureblood families - to give it all up for a muggle-born. History repeating itself, indeed.
P.s. well yeah, the chemistry is also what made me, literally, obsessed with them.

Ever since the whole the confusion about Kingdom Hearts 3 "difficult to Grasp," ending and still going on. I notices a lot of fans are expecting death, more specifically on Riku.
The reason why so many fans are thinking Riku is most likely going to die is because his character arc has "ended". That's a bizzare reason to kill off a character. I could think other reason beside that one. But for some reason, this is a popular theory for KH fans. Also supposed to help Sora with character development.
I like to go against it.
Just because Riku's arc ended doesn't mean his life have to end, it mean he will get a brand new arc to explore with his character. I would love to see his development about being keyblade master and the responsibilities he have to live up to. Will his title effect his life, will he have to fallow traditional methods, or make his own? There so many things that would be interesting to explore.
As for Sora's development...death is tricky thing to write. It's important to think about how will it impact story, and make sure doesn't feels to cheap. To me death shouldn't be the main reason for Sora to grow. There are methods I can think of that could help with Sora development. How about explore feeling when discovering the people who are suffering because of Master Xehanort. Recoded have given hints that Sora must deal the pains in order to understand what happened to the lives like Terra, Aqua, Ven, NaminƩ, and etc. Who know...maybe it will trigger inner-anger, and want to make Master Xehanort pay for horrible things he done to them. He might let his anger to overwhelme him like Terra.
What do you guys think?

My thoughts on Reylo
Since TFA and the first time I saw both Rey and Kylo Ren in the same scene the theme ofĀ ā€œDeath and the Maidenā€ was quite obvious to me. I said right awayĀ ā€œthose two are a thing. I just know it.ā€ because Iā€™ve seen that symbolism in several different books, movies and tv shows before and this is probably my favorite trope ever.
I was a bit surprise to see how much hate this ship gets in regular basis though. I read the antis arguments and I can understand from where they are coming. In general lines Reylo is problematic because itā€™s a pretty bad relationship and abusive. Itā€™s a bad example to young girls that will watch the movie and carry the idea that ā€œif a boy mistreats you itā€™s because he loves youā€. I totally understand the argument and I canā€™t really disagree with it, but since their relationship is based onĀ ā€œDeath and The Maidenā€ I would like to compare it with two different stories that have the same theme.
First we have Beauty and The Beast. Classic! Probably one of my favorite movies/story of all times. Taking the Disney version for an example, Belle and Beastā€™s relationship starts in a pretty bad place that includes abduction, hostage exchange, threats and captivity, not to mention Beastā€™s problems with anger management. What makes this story so great and why we can say that Belle is a great heroine and accept their end game? Because Belle stand her ground all the time. Beast screams, she screams back. He gives her a command and she disobeys. He roars at her and she saysĀ ā€œfuck this bullshit, Iā€™m getting out of here!ā€. Along the movie Beast gets the message. You get bees with honey, not limes, so he starts to get a grip over his anger and his behavior improves a lot. He learns and Belle was never helpless in the story because she refused to let him do what he pleases with her.
Second we have The Phantom of The Opera. Another classic built on a very similar trope. A malformed genius obsessed with the beautiful opera singer. He abducts her and gets mad at the fact that she loves another. The difference between Beast and The Phantom is that thereā€™s nothing left to be save in The Phantom. HisĀ ā€œloveā€ is possessive and because of it he commits several crimes. Thereā€™s no salvation for him. He is truly a monster with a brilliant mind, so we are kind of relieved when Christine and Raul have their happy ending. Christine is very passive in the whole story. She is terrified and also dazzled by the Phantom and she needs Raul to save her, while Belle never needed anyone to save her because she never allowed herself to be a victim.
Of course these are general lines and a very superficial analysis (I donā€™t even know if I can call it an analysis at all). My point is, in terms of narrative, Reylo will follow one of these paths. Itā€™s either a story of redemption, or a tragedy. Kylo can either learn from his mistakes and change his ways, or be doomed forever for being a complete monster. Personally I think Reylo is closer to Beauty and The Beast, than to The Phantom of The Opera, but right now itā€™s irrelevant.
I see many people saying how bad Reylo is as an example for young girls because itā€™s an abusive relationship. As I said before, I understand the argument and to a certain level I can agree with it, but I would like to show you another side of it.
I was four years old when I first watched Beauty and The Beast, and I was 15 when I watched the Phantom. They are my all time favorites and thereā€™s a pretty simple reason why. I was born with cleft lip and palate and this has a direct impact on my self-steam. Itā€™s a pretty low one, if you havenā€™t guessed yet. When I watched those movies, even if I love the female characters and can relate with them to a certain level, the character I really had a connection with was the monstrous creature. With TFA and TLJ it wasnā€™t any different.
I love Rey. I wish I were Rey because she is solar, charismatic, brave, powerful and not helpless at all. She is the most incredible girl ever and she is a great example to girls and women everywhere, but I donā€™t see myself as Rey. The character I can relate the most is Kylo Ren/Ben Solo. The monster in the mask, the frustrated creature breaking under the weight of the monumental image he created of himself. For Kylo the monstrosity is a legacy from Vader and the temptation of the Dark Side. For me itā€™s a scar on my face and the constant lure of depression (which Iā€™m finally treating).
I will always love a tormented villain with human motivations over a hero, no matter how good he/she is, because I can understand why the villain is acting like that even if I disagree with his actions.
What I love so much about Beauty and The Beast is that there is hope for the beasts and little monsters out there. We too can be loved.
So...Before judging the ship and start pointing a finger at others calling them abuse supportive and other nasty things, remember that you donā€™t know who is on the other side of your accusation. You donā€™t know otherā€™s reasons to ship it and...Really? Why wasting time arguing over it?
Itā€™s totally fair to hope for Rey to have her own arc and character development without it serving only to Kyloā€™s narrative. Itā€™s absolutely fair to fight for Rey to have her own accomplishments and let them be as great as Lukeā€™s. Itā€™s perfectly OK to wish for the movies to be about her heroic journey and let her be a great example of strength, autonomy, kindness and balance for boys and girls everywhere. What itā€™s not ok is to call others abuse supportive for shipping Reylo.Ā  Ā Ā

SOOOOO after analyzing Dexter for a while I feel like he's either and Aquarius sun or cap sun although in leaning more towards Aqua sun since he's very distances and spacey in his way of expression and is a bit unique and strange in how he carries himself. Dare I say in either of these sun sign scenarios he must have Saturn or Uranus aspecting the sun sign. As for his moon sign I'm 100% sure that he's a moon in Scorpio! He's very vey intense! His past life and childhood is and was filled with heavy trauma and including the brutal death of his mother and her drug filled and sexual liaison filled life overall influencing dexters emotional outlook on life and being able to be observant of the darkness in others. He also has a noticeable intensity and depth to his feelings that is very present along with a deep understanding of human nature. He can be super impulsive as moon in Scorpio or scorpios in general also have Mars as a co ruler. But that being said he also feels things very deeply and sometimes overwhelmingly. While this is all present Dexter also shows that typical Uranian detachment that I'd attribute to someone with a square or hard aspect to Uranus that may not truly connect with the energy properly. And Dexter does seem to have a hard time coping and properly emotionally expressing his deep feelings or even being able to understand them or deal with intimacy since he always ends up pushing away from close intimate relations. I would go more in depth but this is just some quick observations lmao. I'm not sure of his other placements like I wanna say he's a Mars in Virgo Buuttttt I wouldn't know what his Venus is! And his Mercury could be in Capricorn because he's very serious and straight to the point when speaking but he has a very sensitive way of speaking to Rita as if he understands where she comes from that I'd attribute to a soft Mercury moon synastry but for that his merc would have to be in Aquarius and I have no idea if that's the case lmao I'll do a part to later when I find out and even for the rest of the cast!!

Hi PS, how are you? I wanted to know what you think of last scene of last episode of ipkknd? When I first watched it I disliked the lack of chemistry in arshi! I mean they could have at least hugged each other! But when I rewatched it again today I realised that they had used body doubles for both Arnav and khushi and it just broke my heart šŸ˜ ( ok a little pms exaggeration there!) But I would love to know your thoughts on that!
Hi @ilovefusion :) Iā€™m well thanks!
It is what it is.
I think itā€™s important to have context when looking at the last ~14 episodes of IPKKND. That period was a mess. There were rumours that Sobti was leaving but no one knew what was going to happen. There were a few options:
Kill the character of Arnav Singh Raizada and replace him with a new male lead (rumours mentioned Dhruv Singh Raizada)
Give the character of Arnav Singh Raizada a new face and so replace the actor but not the character ā€“ maybe heā€™d get into an accident and have facial reconstruction surgery to look like someone else.
End the show entirely.
They apparently had an actor casted and ready to begin when it all went pear-shaped. Coupled with the other rumours that they were looking to introduce Dhruv Singh Raizada as Aaravā€™s father originally, itā€™s very hard to know exactly what the show would have looked like if 1) Sobti didnā€™t want to leave and 2) if they hadnā€™t cancelled it.
In any case, the decision to end the show entirely was made relatively late.Ā There was a lead time of about 14-16 days between when IPKKND was shot and when it was aired. So the production team had slightly longer than that (ā€¦ I guess 21 days max from how things ended up looking) to wrap up the Sheetal track and then write something to conclude the story.
They ended the Sheetal stuff in two episodes, most likely rewriting where it was originally going, and then shot the concluding track of the serial. By this time, Sobti was extremely unwell and only gave the scenes that were absolutely required of him. His double did the rest. He wasnā€™t actually there for the last day (and maybe not for the last few days).
Would I have liked it if theyā€™d managed to shoot all of the final scene with Sobti? Absolutely. Would I have liked a bit more romance and more closure? Absolutely. But considering all that Sobti gave to the serial, I find it difficult to be anything but grateful.
I also find it wonderfully poetic that the serialā€™s last words areĀ ā€œYou are the most important part of my lifeā€ because the line throws back to two things. The first is Arnavā€™s lie on Diwali, that Khushi holds no significance for him, and the second is Arnavā€™s declaration that she is one of the two most important parts of his life.
At the time he gave the last scene, the writers had obviously not even worked out what the last lines would be ā€“ Sobti is working to a general direction along the lines of ā€œArnav reacts to something Khushi saysā€ rather than knowing what sheā€™d say. I have enough faith in Sobtiā€™s acting to say that heā€™d have played Arnav differently if heā€™d known exactly what sheā€™d say ā€“ itā€™s such a momentous thing for Khushi to finally say out aloud.
You can read more about my position on body doubles here.

Maizono: Even if we graduateā€¦ I wonā€™t be such a faraway person. Maizono: Thatā€™s why, if you keep on watching me, I will be glad. Naegi: Yesā€¦ Iā€™m looking at you. To make your precious dream continue onā€¦ I will cheer you on by your side. Maizono: ā€¦ Itā€™s a promise. [Exhaling white breath out of my mouth, I talked with Naegi slowly.]
Okay, Naegiā€™s line here literally sounded like a marriage proposal and Maizonoā€™s answer sounded like ā€œI doā€ at the marriage scenes.
Omg Iā€™m crying. I thought team DR couldnā€™t pull any new emotion out of Naezono anymore but they succeeded.
Maizono is speaking formally to Naegi even though sheā€™s in her third year. I wonder if thatā€™s because the writer for Omake mode didnā€™t check animation DR3, or thereā€™s another reason.
If I think of another reason, I guess itā€™s because of Maizonoā€™s mindset about her work. Maizono is pretty strict to herself and about her work, and sheā€™s especially careful to not make any gossips about men and her. So sheā€™s been pretty careful around Naegi, maybe distancing herself a little(repressing her true feelings for the future). This is purely my delusion from hereon:
MaizonoĀ still has crush on Naegi after the 3rd year but she knows that she still has a long way to go in her careers. So all she could ask him is to keep on watching her. Then maybe one day, when she retires from her idol job, she can finally confess openly. I think Naegi kind of understood her situation too, so he promised future to her.
Then what about original universe where they speak informally? The world kind of doomed there, so I think Maizono kind of gave up on putting polite mask on her face. (but as it was mentioned in DR1, there lies nothing behind that mask so I donā€™t think her attitude changed drastically or anything.) ButĀ since they were in an insane post-apocalypse world, they had to put away whatever was in their mind. And they are the sort of people who would put work first in their mind.
Either way, itā€™s great to have another material to think about.

SWOT Analysis of My Life
One of the themes in my Computing Foundations class is doing SWOT analyses of things in your organization. It occurred to me that SWOT analyses could be done for just about anything that has the necessary strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. So I will do a SWOT analysis of being Hanna.Ā
Strengths-Ā I am an intelligent grad student living in an affluent community where the local economy is improving. It turns out I am doing well enough in my library program and the outlook for me is good. Though I had no idea what the holy hell I was doing, I now have an idea for a direction. I want to work with computers and do coding and web development...not necessarily in libraries. I am not in the program because my soul-deep calling is to be a librarian. Iā€™m in it because the skills are transferrable and useful, and if I use them in industry, I might have a shot at paying back the nearly 100K in student loan debt I will accumulate. People are really nice here and I am making friends and allies.Ā
Weaknesses-The stakes are majorly high. Thereā€™s no denying it. Itā€™s either sink or swim, which at times can be a little overwhelming. But I know that at the end of the day, it will at least not be boring. I accepted a challenge and at least tried to do something with myself, which I think is admirable and a cause for liking myself. Also, one faculty member has a danger of turning an otherwise good program into shark infested waters. Iā€™m mostly ignoring the situation because I need to move on, but a situation has been created where the public library resources, community engagement and reading theory classes are all the dog and pony show of one individual, the wrong one. Someone also told me that this meant I would be cutting out all public library skills, but the director told me that was false and there were other ways of getting them. Also, Iā€™ve noticed a highly homogeneous community, not necessarily intentional, but one where there is so much back patting and ego stroking and agreeing with everybody that sometimes I feel like Iā€™m in the middle of a Junior League Meeting in 1960s Jackson, Mississippi rather than any kind of forefront of academic thought.Ā
Opportunities-- But that could have advantages too. By being different, I do have something could contribute and so I can change this perceived weakness into an opportunity. And I think that itā€™s very important that multiple voices are heard at all time, so itā€™s not an insular little club that might unconsciously alienate people. I realize thatā€™s a human tendency. Iā€™m not blaming anyone in particular, but I do notice it is strongly influencing the way things are and what being in that situation is like. I also saw tremendous opportunities in tech fields, which gives me hope for my future. Sometimes I feel like if I tried to explain where Iā€™ve come from to anyone other than my friend who works at Wal-Mart, no one would understand. Iā€™m used to scraping together money for food and gas because I donā€™t have skills. Thatā€™s why Iā€™m here. I think certain individuals have a picture in their minds of what a librarian or a MLIS student is that are very limiting and I want to work to broaden the view of what that could look like.Ā
Threats- This is an enormous challenge and a threat I need to avoid is discouragement. I canā€™t allow myself to give up, isolate, or shrink from challenges out of fear. This is a major battle in my life right now. Today, I feel like I have a chance to come out on top though. A little hope does wonders for confidence. I also need to block out what Professor Sea Monster said to me, but it is luckily fading into a distant memory. If I hadnā€™t talked to a certain faculty member who encouraged me that day, I probably would have dropped out by now. So I think what I have to do is work my ass off and be a top student, despite the many ways Iā€™m different and show that I canā€™t be bullied out of the program by one miserable individual.

I just noticed, even though Misty is older in that official art that shows her on a date, sheā€™s still taller than the Georgio/Tsutomo-looking guy. I guess that lends more credence to the theory that Misty will continue to be taller than most guys (At least the guys sheā€™s into) her age in the future and that her current height isnā€™t just solely attributed to girls growing faster than boys at her current age of ten.

I probably should have said this MUCH earlier, but major props to the producers of FMAB: Bones, Aniplex, Square Enix, FUNimation Entertainment, Mainichi Broadcasting, and Studio Moriken (Source: MAL). The producers' expertise in making this anime was especially obvious in episode 22, which I just watched.Ā
Ā  SUMMARY of episode 22 (skip this paragraph if you don't need a refresher): In episode 22, Winry discovers that Scar is the one who killed her parents, right after they saved him. We then see the war in Scar's perspective. Scar's brother had been studying alchemy for a long time, and noticed something was odd about the country's alchemy. (That isn't addressed until much later in the series, but Scar's brother had just made an extremely important discovery.) Scar's brother wanted to use alchemy to help people, but Scar only saw alchemy as a weapon for greed, power, and destruction. When Solf J. Kimblee destroyed his home, Scar's brother tried to protect him. Unfortunately, the explosions took Scar's right arm, and Scar's brother found him on the verge of death. In his haze of desperation, Scar's brother transmuted his own arm onto Scar's body. Scar woke up later in a medical camp run by the Rockbells, an Amestrian doctor couple and Winry's parents. When he realized his brother was dead and his brother's arm was now his, he went berserk, and could only remember the Amestrians as destructive, bloodthirsty savages. The first people he saw when he woke up were Amestrians, and he killed them in a fit of rage.Ā
Ā  What Scar did was obviously wrong, and I won't justify it. But this scene in episode 22 was done VERY well, in a way that makes me understand where he's coming from. Scar's flashback shows everything in monochrome. This lack of color signifies things that are either unimportant or ordinary in Scar's memories. The things that stand out in Scar's memory are the red blood of his countrymen, the bright orange fire of explosions, and the blue eyes of Amestrians.Ā
Ā  The first time Scar sees Amestrians, they are grinning and threatening fellow Ishvalans at gunpoint. Scar immediately affiliates those blue eyes with death, and understandably so! Later on, he sees blue-eyed soldiers marching through the towns, killing not just men, but also defenseless women and young children. Everywhere he looks, those devilish blue eyes are killing and slaughtering people for no conceivable reason.Ā
Ā  Then when Scar wakes up, the first thing he sees are those blue eyes. Even then, Scar is in a calm state, probably due to light sedation and confusion. For a few seconds, Scar even believes his brother is still alive, since he sees his brother's arm. But once Scar realizes that his brother's arm is now his, he loses all ability to think rationally. All he can remember are those explosions. those pools of blood, and those blue eyes. He connects the blue-eyed Rockbell couple to the blue-eyed savages in his memories, and he himself turns into a savage as he slaughters them.Ā
Ā  Again, I am not saying what Scar did is okay by any means. But it makes sense if you look at what he went through prior to being saved by them. It's a pity that Winry never got to know exactly what happened, but then again it may not have made a difference. It's also possible that if Scar's brother hadn't died, Scar wouldn't have killed the Rockbells. Either way, I think all of this speculation and analysis is thanks to the hard work and amazing execution by the FMAB production staff (and of course, the magnificent Hiromu Arakawa)! I never appreciate them nearly enough, and they'll probably never see this post, but hopefully they know what a masterpiece they created and are proud of their job well done.Ā

Hi phati-sari! I was wondering if u knew why IPKKND used body doubles for the actors especially Sanaya and Barun? Was it because the actors were busy or technical reasons?
Hello!
All shows use body doubles, I think the difference is in how overt they are about it.
Itā€™s more economical to use body doubles as you pay them less than other actors. Your leads also canā€™t be in two places at once so using doubles allows you to shoot simultaneously, which is important when you consider the short lead time between shooting and airing Indian serials. It also allows you to manage fatigue. If you can give your lead the afternoon off then itā€™s in your interests to do so because daily soaps tend to shoot for 5 to 6 days a week for more than 12 hours a day. We saw a lot of Sobtiā€™s body double when he was sick near the end of the show, for example.
Using doubles also allows you to work around everyoneā€™s schedules. For example, Sobti couldnā€™t dedicate much time to the show when his movie was shooting so they used his double a lot. All the outside scenes (both Mammaā€™s garden scenes and running through the forest during kidnap) were shot using doubles ā€¦ presumably because the actors couldnā€™t schedule together as they were also needed on set. Scenes are not shot in the order they appear in the final edit of the serial.
It allows you to shoot scenes the actors might not be comfortable with, such as intimate scenes. Sobti in particular tends to dislike them.
I think fans tend to romanticize the actors as well as the characters, so much so that they feel betrayed when they realize their favourite scenes were shot with doubles. But itā€™s no different to dubbing voices when people are unwell, in my opinion, so my only complaint is that everyone gave up pretending about Sobtiā€™s double during kidnap and afterwards. I feel they couldā€™ve been more professional about it. Then again, Iraniā€™s double rarely wore the wig so it could be argued that they were never that professional in the first place ā€¦

Random baubles. So I decided not to wear my binding to work yesterday. Not only did it feel awkward I also ran into a problem. The computer would beep at me every time I went to get the phone because my breasts were pressing aginst the keys. Im not going that again. I swear.
